" I want to thank you for taking so much time with us- to be honest and compassionate about our situation. Having Les give clear direction to us- <I> swear Henry is a different dog. We are so excited to work with him.
Thanks so much- Candie"

"I can't believe how much I learned from Dara
and Les in such a short period of time! The changes in my dog in
one weekend were absolutely AMAZING! Suddenly, my dog was having
fun and so was I. When can I come back again for more?"
J. Carlo - Professional Body Builder (Boise, ID)

"I have been apprenticing as a helper under Les
Flores for two years. Les’ understanding of K9 behavior and
his talents and patience as an instructor have made it possible
for me to obtain my certification as a trail helper in both DVG
AMERICA and SCHUTZHUND USA.
The dog training skills I have learned from Les not
only help me in all phases of dog sport, but his instructions concerning
domestic obedience have helped me in managing two challenging high-drive
dogs around my family with confidence."

(Seattle, WA)

"I've put over 60 training titles on my dogs
over the past 30 years and I've done my share of winning. When I
was lucky enough to find Les and Dara I felt like a novice again.
I'm a repeat customer at their Training
In Drive Schutzhund Seminar and consider myself damn
lucky to be able to learn from them. I train pit bulls and have
never seen trainers that are able to switch gears for each breed
presented like Les and Dara. Both I and my dogs are lucky to have
found them."

"I have been training with Les and Dara for the past 2 years.
I feel truly BLESSED! They have a unique
understanding and deep commitment to helping others train and understand
their dogs. I purchased a
Malinois puppy that lacked the proper socialization and was very
strong willed. As a new handler I needed
a lot of help. I called on them day and night and they always answered.
I attended the October 2005 Schutzhund
seminar when 'Rico' was 7 months. I learned so much
in those 5 days! I never would have believed until I saw it with
my own dog that, by making my dog strong and balanced in all of
his drives, the exercises would come naturally and clearly. My dog,
has surpassed ALL of my expectations. Anybody watching him just
says ''WOW'!'"
R. Hill - Business Owner / Professional Retirement Care (Mukilteo,

"I met Les in 2001 and have attended many of
his Schutzhund training seminars.
With his help, patience, and constructive criticism, he has helped
my training progress immensely. Last year I attended the week-long
Handler and Drive Training Workshop
where we worked extensively in all three phases of Schutzhund.
Each training session was followed by analytical discussions of
each handler/dog team's performance. I highly recommend the workshop
to competitive handlers or those who want to gain experience in
the sport.
In 2002, I sent Les my SchH III Belgian Malinois, Nico, to polish
his training. I knew it was the right decision when Les and Nico
became the 2004 DVG America National Champions, competed at the
Malinois World Championship, and competed in the DHV Deutsche Meisterschaft
all in the same year. Les went way beyond my expectations with Nico
and, together, they earned Nico's IPO III and his FH I titles. Thanks,
Les. What a ride!"

"I've been training with Les and
Dara for about a year and a half. But, the amount of
knowledge I've gained during that time makes it seem more like five
years! When I first met them I was training two very different dogs.
One was high drive and very easy to train while the other was more
stubborn and demanding. Up to that point, I had been training both
dogs in the same manner but it just wasn't working. With the Les
and Dara's help, I was able to fix mistakes that I made with my
male and to better train my female.
Not only have Les and Dara helped my dogs but they have also helped
me to become a trial helper
and are helping me become a trainer as well. Les and Dara are very
generous with their knowledge. Although I live over two hours away
from them, I gladly make the trip every chance I get. Whenever I
leave a training session, I come away with something new - a new
training technique or, sometimes, just new bruises from one of Les'
hard hitting dogs. I have always had fun training with Les and Dara
- that's for sure!
My schedule is odd due to my job and family life. Les and Dara
always find time to work with me if I want to train. All I need
to do is call them and they're there giving their all to help me
and my dogs on the right path. For that I cannot thank them enough."
Z. Williams - Code Enforcement Officer (Hubbard, OR)

"My dog, "Asia" is a very energetic
female Belgian Malinois. She was like a child with A.D.D.! She wouldn't
listen to me and my family and friends found her very annoying and
frustrating to be around.
After a 2-week
board and train session with Les and Dara, I have a
whole new dog! I enjoy being around her and she's much happier now
that she has a job and can channel all of that energy in to something
constructive. Les and Dara also introduced "Asia" to agility
so she has a job and my son is excited to really get involved with
that project.
I loved my dog before I sent her to Les and Dara for
training but she was just too much. Now, she's a joy to be around
and I feel like she's part of the family. Thanks, guys!"
"S. Buse" - Mother, Horse Woman, and Caregiver (Mukilteo,

"In 2004, I was invited up to Washington to participate
with a club training at Tumwater. It was a Saturday morning and
I was very excited to meet other club members and to show off the
two German Shepherd Dogs I was training at that time.
When we reached the training field, I couldn't believe
my eyes and watched in awe at club members who were having so much
fun and doing beautiful obedience routines with their dogs. Wow!
This is what I wanted to accomplish with my dogs too. So, I introduced
myself and was a bit embarrassed to learn that the club I had been
invited to visit didn’t train until Sunday! The club that
was watching was Les Flores’ club. It must have been fate
that I got the training days mixed up.
With a big smile and a warm welcome, Les said, “Well
you have traveled all this way, go get your dogs and let's work
them." I learned more in this one day of training with Les
than I had in the entire past five years at other clubs and knew
that this was where I had to come for all my future training.
Over the past year, I moved to Washington with my
four very young GSD puppies. With their combined knowledge, experience,
and real understanding of K-9 drives, Les and Dara evaluated each
pup and designed a training program appropriately suited for each
individual dog. I appreciate their honest evaluation of my pups
and of my handling skills. It has been a wonderful experience and
I continue to benefit from their wealth of knowledge.
I am a repeat participant in Les and Dara's drive
training workshops and seminars. They bring in the
very top helpers and instructors in the U.S. and abroad to help
each individual handler and dog to accomplish their goals. It's
a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting
to compete in Schutzhund. You'll be amazed at what you'll learn.
See ya on the podium!"
